Safety Guidelines & Tanning Waiver

You must be 18 years or older to use any tanning equipment. No exceptions. Valid government ID is required at registration.

Indoor tanning involves exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Overexposure can cause skin damage, premature ageing, eye injury, and increase the long-term risk of skin cancer. Always follow your advisor's plan and the session limits posted on each bed.

Allow at least 24–48 hours between sessions. Never tan on the same day you have spent time at the beach, pool, or in direct outdoor sun. Never tan if you are sunburned.

UV-blocking goggles must be worn during every session. Closing your eyes is not sufficient — UV penetrates eyelids. Failure to wear the provided eyewear can cause permanent eye damage and voids our liability for any resulting harm.

Do not use tanning services and consult your physician first if you are pregnant; have a personal or family history of skin cancer or melanoma; have a photosensitivity disorder, lupus, or another autoimmune condition; have an active skin condition (eczema, psoriasis, open wounds); or are taking medication that increases photosensitivity (antibiotics, retinoids/Accutane, hormonal therapies, certain anti-inflammatory or antifungal drugs).

Outdoor sunscreens, oils, and tanning accelerators are prohibited on our beds. Use only the indoor lotions sold or approved by megaSun Lounge. Remove perfume, deodorant, and makeup before each session.

Every first-time client receives a free Fitzpatrick skin consultation. Our advisor designs a session plan tailored to your skin type and goal. Follow that plan — it is built to protect you.

By using our services you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to follow these guidelines; you confirm none of the contraindications in Section 5 apply to you, or that you have a physician's clearance; and you voluntarily assume all risk associated with UV tanning, releasing megaSun Lounge, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claim arising out of your use of our services, except claims that cannot lawfully be excluded.
